much louder than normal. It's as though she's finally fed up with the abuses heaped upon her by human ignorance and greed and has decided to get our attention in much more powerful ways. Since January, seventeen major earthquakes measuring at least 7.0 have occurred around the planet - the most devastating in Haiti, Chile, China and Samoa. Worldwide, flooding has taken a toll on every continent and volcanoes are actively erupting in Iceland, Russia, Ecuador, Chile and Guatemala.

Before his death in 1945, psychic and "sleeping prophet" Edgar Cayce predicted significant earthquake activity in Iceland and on Mounts Vesuvius and Pelee. As of this writing, the Icelandic volcano continues to disrupt air travel all across Europe and now the Americas, and to impact the delivery of salmon from Norway to the rest of the world. In a reading in 1934 Cayce said "There will be upheavals in the Arctic

and in the Antarctic that will make for the eruption of volcanoes." Could the melting glaciers be contributing to these "upheavals"?

Cayce continued, "The earth will be broken up in many places - South America will be shaken from its uppermost portion to its end." "If there are greater activities in the volcanoes on Iceland, Vesuvius or Pelee, then the southern coast of California and the areas between Salt Lake and the southern portions of Nevada, may expect within the three months following, inundation by the earthquakes - more so in the Southern than the Northern Hemisphere." Following the eruption in Iceland, there was an earthquake near San Diego, and major flooding not only in Chile and Peru but also in the south central parts of the United States, in Europe, in Australia and in China.

He said that those people being born in this period of time (late 20th into 21st century) are purposely returning to the geographic areas of earth where they

previously lived or migrated to after the destruction of Atlantis. Some went to Peru or "west to what was called Yucatan or Mayan Land." These individuals have returned to incarnation to rectify the effects of their atomic, laser and technological inventions which contributed to the destruction of the world tens of thousands of years ago. They have settled in the same regions of the earth because they intuitively knew where their behavior had previously caused such great devastation and how they could use gentler ways to live in harmony with the earth. It is significant that the Mayan prophecies and messages from the Mayan elders have much greater visibility around the world with 2012 looming.

In another reading, Cayce told an individual that he was in Atlantis in the "second period of disturbance, or 28,000 years ago." He said the individual and his companions "left Atlantis to build up the Peruvian lands because the Atlanteans were

becoming decadent" as disputes between the "children of the Law of One and the children of Belial (evil) continued." This reading clearly supports the theories of archaeologists who said the precise creation of the ancient stone walls at Tiwanaku and Aramu Muru were done by ancients who had highly developed technological capabilities. Some archaeologists have called Pumapunku, home of the largest stones of Tiwanaku, the "most important ancient site on earth - even greater than the Great Pyramid of Egypt." Archaeologists who have studied these highly polished diorite monuments date them to around 20,000 BC but said they are probably much older than that.

As modern day governments and politicians bicker over fossil fuel and energy policies, the dialogue often turns to the pros and cons of nuclear energy. The fears are that nuclear energy is not safe or can be used as weapons. The stories in the

Hindu Mahabharata indicate atomic weapons may have been used on earth tens of thousands of years ago. This ancient Hindu "bible" reports that the world was destroyed by a nuclear war in the region between India and Pakistan when a "terrible weapon was launched." Even though Krishna deflects the missile it manages to "turn the sun around. The universe is scorched with heat as elephants and other creatures of the land, scorched by the energy of the weapon, ran in fright, breathing heavily and desirous of protection against that terrible force..." It continues, "A thick gloom suddenly shrouded the host. All points of the compass were enveloped by darkness. Inauspicious winds began to blow." Oppenheimer, who was creator of the atomic bomb and head of the Manhattan Project, believed that nuclear weapons were used in ancient India based on the description given in the Mahabharata.

So what does all this mean to each of us? It means that while there are ancient documents and prophecies that tell the stories of the planets cataclysms, the earth has managed to survive. It also means that the predictions of the ancient Maya and Hopi who looked to the stars to predict greater cosmic changes, or the more recent earth-change predictions of Edgar Cayce cannot be ignored. This is especially notable as the Hopi describe the destruction of the first, second, third and fourth worlds because "the people forgot their Creator."

Yet, while all the prophecies spoke of times of great trial, tribulation and destruction, they also offered signs of hope. These trials offer us an opportunity to do things in a different way and to consider alternatives instead of repeating the mistakes of the

He said it would be a time when we would learn to "treat thy neighbor as thyself" and to know "all nations are of one blood" and that "those who are to be the greater are to be the servants of all." He said that the "Children of the Law of One" did group meditations, prayer or focused concentration together which promoted deeper knowledge and understanding that resulted in them "entering into a fourth dimensional consciousness - where they could use Universal Forces that were guided and directed" by the angelic realm.

The "Children of the Sun" or "Children of the Law of One" who he said would return to rectify the sins of the past do so now as "servants of all." When dire events happen on the planet, there is an immediate response from them. The ongoing Gulf

Oil spill is a perfect example of this. Responses to the initial reports of the spill focused on blame, fear, and greed. As the oil continued to flow from the bottom of the ocean its real impact slowly became more evident. There was a growing awareness that the entire food chain in the gulf could be affected along with the livelihoods of fishermen and the tourist industry.

With hurricane season approaching and the potential of the oil moving into the Gulfstream, it was clear this was not just a Gulf problem, but one in which the entire world could be affected. While engineers, technicians, government officials and volunteers sprang into action to stem the oil and protect the wildlife, so too did those who "use and guide Universal Forces of the fourth dimensional consciousness."

Situations like this unfold continuously around the world under the watchful eyes of a coalition of "mindfulness organizations." In their vigilance, they see the potential

for bringing people together to solve the problems through heart-centered activities. The Global Consciousness Initiative asked its worldwide membership to go into their heart centers and to visualize the Gulf region, the land and the sea, as vibrant and thriving and to feel as if the highest and best outcome for all had already taken place.

In synchronous time, when that directive was set in place by GCI, local leaders of the spiritual community in southwestern Florida were already in action. The community immediately responded to a call to meet on the famous white crystal sands of Siesta Key Beach. In less than thirty-six hours and with minimal notification, fifty people joined the sunset gathering. Many who felt paralyzed with anxiety over the oil spill, or fearful of what would happen to the Gulf, responded quickly to being in service.

With the tones of the crown chakra and third eye chakra crystal bowls as backdrop, Rose Lettiere led a guided meditation to visualize and anchor an ethereal barrier reef around the spewing oil. With the group joining in heart coherence with the Global Consciousness members, the barrier reef was constructed from fourth dimensional consciousness. Through the grace of the angelic realms and the focused intentions of the group, it was asked that the ethereal reef remain in place until the physical barrier is safely erected.

As we witness the prophecies unfolding, we know there are always greater solutions that can be brought forward by the "Children of the Sun." We no longer have to remain in fear or anguish. We can proactively move to the heart center and create the solutions we wish to see. Especially as each of us must own the blame as well as create the solutions for what happens on the planet. And so we did in southwest Florida and around the world.

On the other side of the earth a Balinese group responded to the Gulf oil spill in tandem with us. A man named Nuadi came forward. Nuadi has few earthly possessions, has never gone more than five kilometers from his home and lives a life in service to others. He offered this prayerful benediction for all of humanity. His simple wisdom is shared here with all who might reflect on their own role in earth's disasters.

We are here to learn how to live.
When things we do not like are in our life
We can't get angry or push them away.
We have to bring them into us.

As Nuadi said the last line of his prayer, he reached out and wrapped his arms around the bad thing pulling it into his heart with a giant smile.

If you didn't see the White Tara Sand Mandala painted by the monks of Drepung Loseling Monastery you missed a spectacular event. As part of the program called The Mystical Arts of Tibet, five monks spent a week painting a four-foot sand mandala in the Grand Foyer of the Van Wezel. In all the artistic traditions of Tantric Buddhism, painting with colored sand ranks as one of the most unique and exquisite.

I had the opportunity to spend five easy afternoons with the head of the monastery, Gala Rinpoche, talking about mandalas, meditation, Buddhism, illusion and impermanence. He explained that the monks go through three years of rigorous training to learn this art. It

includes meditation, geometry, breath control and a final initiation. In the shadow of a shrine to his Holiness the Dalai Lama, Gala Rinpoche explained that the monks had dedicated their meditations and intentions to White Tara who was in the center of the Mandala. Rinpoche explained how all emanations of the Goddess of Compassion (Red Tara, White Tara, etc.) emerged from the central Green Tara.

The monks spent the week meticulously creating the sand mandala from marble "dust" which had been colored using only vegetable and fruit dyes. In more ancient times, the sand was pulverized precious and semi-precious stones with lapis lazuli used for blue, amethyst for purple, rubies for red and emeralds for green. The

mandala is delicately created grain by grain to generate the healing energies of the Goddess of Compassion upon all sentient beings.

Visitors had the opportunity to try their hand at the art of sand painting in a community mandala. It was not as easy as it looked. Several students from Ringling School of Art began the mandala with a floral pattern in the center before others joined in.

The Sand Mandala is a representation of the aspects of illusion and impermanence.

was deconstructed at the end of the week. The deconstruction signified the impermanence of all existence. The sands were swept up in a sacred ceremony and placed in a bronze urn covered with silken altar cloths. It was then poured into the bay where the waters of the Gulf would carry the healing energies throughout the world.

Remembering the Real Journey

Our real trip to Peru began after returning home. All who went share that they are ungrounded and experiencing feelings of "not being here nor there." Many say they've withdrawn from groups, activities, events or socializing so they can find their focus. Others feel a relocation is in the offing, though there's no clear direction on that yet, nor does it matter to where.

Journaling and quiet reflection have been a big help in trying to understand what transpired during those three weeks in South America. In the thin atmosphere of 13,000 feet, where you're closer to the sun than ever before, I was conscious that something was happening, but not what it was. Yes there were connections with the ancient ancestors through the stones and the ruined temples. The spirits were always present around us and visible in every rock formation and mountain. But there was something bigger transpiring behind what was being presented.

Looking back, one event continues to hold a powerful resonance. It turned out to be the most memorable experience for me, no matter how many ruins, stones, monuments or sacred sites we visited. It was an unplanned happening that was immense in scope, though an insignificant part of the overall tour. It was an experience that would become the point from which would springboard a new journey back home.

One night, nineteen of us were on a small bus coming out of the Sacred Valley. Leaving the small town of Urubamba, the bus had to make a slow climb over the top of a 13,500 foot mountain in order to get back to Cusco. As we went up the mountain, there were no more villages. There was no electricity in the area. The only lights came from the bus itself. Someone asked the driver to stop at the top of the mountain so we could see the Southern Cross. Hearing the words, "Southern Cross" I felt it was a moment of destiny for me. As the driver pulled off the road and turned off the lights, I was the first one to leap off the bus.

Out there on the top of the mountain, in the cold atmosphere, there was nothing but blackness all around us. The stars overhead looked like large brilliant diamonds that I could reach out and touch. I searched for my favorite star system Orion and found it was at a different location in the skies over South America. Instead of a few prominent stars, I could see all the stars in and around "The Hunter" in ways I had never seen before. There were so many and they were so close. I felt pulled into its formation and heard inside my head the voice of my long gone grandfather re-telling the mythological stories of Orion and the Pleiades. I saw constellations and star systems that I had never before seen because the denser atmosphere and city lights of North America always block them out.

Instead of dim stars with a lot of dark sky between them, this cosmic canopy looked like a great mythic builder had thrown a million large diamonds onto a black velvet carpet. I felt the power of the stars pulling me into their portals and vortexes and I grew physically dizzy with the grandeur above me. There was a sliver of a new moon visible as the entire sky, which was filled with clear starlight, washed down over us. My eyes filled with tears as I became part of the cosmos. In the still moment of silence and reverence, I became imprinted with a powerful universal connection. I had come home!

In the rarefied light-beams streaming in, an invisible seed was planted. In the frequency of that high-altitude it waited. A month later, back home, the seed is ready to germinate. What it will fully grow into is still unknown. But, there's a feeling of patience and careful watchfulness unfolding as I watch it begin to grow.

This much has been revealed. All of us have been spiritually re-calibrated whether we know it or not. But the new attunement is not yet complete. It has begun with a strong reconnection to inner guidance. The reconnection was always there but I forgot to remember it. Now it's a constant. Its low hum is unmistakable. There's a feeling of peacefulness and expansion accompanying it. It already influences dreams and meditations. The remembering is notable in all forms of spiritual expression. My mandala art and spiritual writings have blossomed in new ways.

The seed is growing inside each one of us. It was planted in our heart centers during the solar disk activation. As it awakens, it will show us how to reconnect to and become our own Spiritual Master. Through the rays of the sun, the Master of the new self is birthing. This Master will be our only guide. This Master is the one we'll trust. This is the Master that we are all in stages of becoming. This is the Master that will harmonize us in such a way that evolution becomes possible on a global scale.

Yes, there are still many spiritual beings alive who will continue to come into our sphere of influence. They will create catalytic sparks on our journey that will act like mid-course corrections for us. But this new seed growing within promises to dissolve the need for the endless string of teachers outside of us. Instead, we are standing witness to the arrival of the extraordinary Master Teacher within us. That Inner Guide will flourish because of the star-gate that was activated in Peru. May all of humanity feel the presence of the spiritual guide within and be comforted by that feeling of sweetness that makes its home in the heart center. Om shanti.

Solar Disk Activation - A Pilgrim's Journey to Peru

Eons ago, during the final destruction of the ancient lands of Lemuria, a call was sounded that was destined to be heard in another time by the people of the earth. This call carried a resonant frequency through time and space; held in certainty that the Children of the Sun would return some day in the future to activate a loving heart consciousness on earth. For those who heard it, and even for those who didn't understand it, the call promised to open heart-centered love, caring, and compassionate feelings in the global hearts of humanity.

The first sounds of that universal heart-centered focus was felt nine years ago when the world learned about the 9/11 attacks and responded in a wave of universal caring. It sounded again in 2004, delivering loving compassion and aid to the victims of the Indonesian tsunami long before world governments chose to respond. When a catastrophic earthquake destroyed the country of Haiti in early January, the outpouring of humanitarian aid was immediate as people chose to personally respond and go to the island nation to help.

Sometimes, catastrophe and tragedy are the catalysts for opening the heart-centers. At other times, there's a different catalyst. People are brought together to hold the consciousness that doorways must be opened which speak to a new time dawning on earth. That time came when groups from around the world were called to Lake Titicaca, 12,500 feet high up in the Andes, for a ceremony called the Activation of the Solar Disk on Valentine's Day, Feb. 14, 2010. These groups, hearing the ancient call, brought forth an outpouring of the Divine Feminine compassion and heart love, which flowed from the center of the sun to the global family on earth. Thousands more from around the world who also heard the call but who could not be present, chose to participate in their own physical locations.

This is the story of a small group of women, an enclave in the larger group, who also heard the call but who came with individual visions and deep knowing of their roles in this gathering. They journeyed to Peru from different parts of the world to be part of the ceremony. They came from Europe, the British Isles, the West Indies, South America and North America. Most did not know one another before arriving, yet upon meeting there was an instantaneous familiarity with each other. It was clear that they had come out of time, out of space, and from great distances to reconnect in a way that would unite their hearts once more in a most unique yet familiar manner.

While the larger group gathered at different places during the four days of the various activation ceremonies, this enclave was destined to keep its own vigils, all of them receiving clear and unmistakable personal guidance and counsel. There was a unanimous feeling that on Feb. 14th when the main group was at Amantani Island, this group would return to the Aramu Muru Portal to hold sacred ceremony. The ancient legends say this portal was the place into which Aramu Muru, one of the twelve master teachers of Mu, disappeared with the golden sun disk. If Feb. 14th was in fact the "Re-Activation of the Solar Disk" it felt purposeful and right that we hold open the Divine Feminine Heart-Gate by returning to the place where the disk was last seen centuries ago. As if blessing that decision a large golden aurora appeared around the sun directly overhead.

A private van was hired to take us to the portal. Unlike the previous day when three huge groups had converged on the portal at the same time, this time we were completely alone for more than five hours. With the Aramu Muru doorway as backdrop, a sacred altar was set in front of it using the mesa belonging to one of the women who was a Shamanic Mesa-Carrier. Each woman placed a sacred object on the altar, signifying something important in her life. A hat which had been around the world with its owner represented the journey we'd all come on. It was placed at the top of the altar. Photographs of spiritual teachers, mentors, absent friends, crystals, stones, incense and holy waters were placed on the mesa. The altar was then sealed and outlined with sacred ceremonial white quartz-crystal sand from Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota. It was not until much later that we realized the sandy outline of the altar was a mirror reflection of the portal above it.

Without any direction, each woman automatically assumed a role as though she had done it for ages. A palo santo (holy wood) fire was tended which served to light eight candles representing the major religions of the world. The shamanic Mesa-Carrier called in the blessings of the directions. As she invoked the Eagle and Condor of the East, the winds picked up and the sound of wings flapping from a large bird could be heard nearby though none of us saw it.

Our ceremony was universal in nature. We lit a candle to each of the eight major religions of the world, including the unknown. We chanted a sacred chant that represented each of those religions. We said a prayer and set it into the atmosphere. We prayed that all who came after us to visit this portal would feel the peacefulness and the opening of their hearts and that they would carry this back to their home countries. Then we sat in silent meditation.

In this Solar Activation Ceremony we knew we'd joined with people from all over the world. Hundreds of you had written after reading the February Spirit of Ma'at issue about the Solar Disk Activation saying you would be part of the ceremony in your home locations. During this opening of the heart center, and this outpouring of Divine Feminine grace and love, we felt your presence. We knew you were with us during our silent meditation. We heard your voices join ours as we chanted Kadosh, Kadosh — Kyrie Eleison — Gate Gate Para Sum Gate — Om Mata Om Kali Durga Devi Namo Nama — and other holy chants. We knew you stood with us, as the Divine Feminine sweetness opened our hearts and poured out loving grace onto the global family on earth. We were held in the energy of the Portal, and we felt united with you in every aspect of that ceremony.

There were many things experienced in Peru most of which could fill dozens of articles for this magazine. But the reason each of us went was to personally answer a universal call that we sounded into the cosmos eons ago. The human family had to elevate its consciousness from darkness to light in order to hear the sound once more. At 12,500 feet above sea level we set aside the distractions of this world. A magnificent group of women united with thousands from all over the world. They acted as carrier waves to the wonder of heart-centered love that was being directed to all inhabitants on the planet. Aligned at the portal, with the center of the Sun Disk and with the Galactic Center, we seeded the true sounds of Universal One-ness that is to become manifest in the times ahead. We summoned all the names of the Divine Feminine through time, invoking her grace upon us. In the opened heart-gate we offered this prayer: May all beings find joy! May all beings find happiness! May all beings stand in communion with one another! Peace, peace, and more peace.

ACTIVATION OF THE SOLAR DISK - PERU

Igniting the Spiritual Sun Within
Feb. 14th

The Incan and Ayamara elders selected Feb. 14th (Valentine's Day) for the ceremony to Activate the Solar Disk at Lake Titicaca. The cosmic ceremony heralds the physical re-emergence into the earth's atmosphere of those called The Children of the Sun. These are the ones destined to usher in the golden age of peace and harmony on earth.

On Feb. 14th, we will be present with people from all over the world who have been called to Lake Titicaca to hold sacred the energetic frequencies of the New Earth. All the ancient prophecies point to these powerful times. They tell us that the Light of the Sun will return to earth, opening the hearts of the global family. This is the portal that floods the earth with the golden rays of the Divine Feminine sweetness.

2010 - Looking Beyond the Changes

With the new year barely one month old, significant earth stresses have already been recorded around the planet. Lunar eclipses, solar eclipses, and 3 near earth planets in retrograde all happened in a two week window of linear time. Sizeable earthquakes have rocked countries on both sides of the world. We will need to be consciously aware of everything that is happening around us and tread gently and with ease, remembering there's a greater purpose unfolding in the chaos and remember that all will be well.

Consider the cold weather that the world experienced in January. 32 American states including Florida, were at freezing temperatures for weeks. Recorded temps (not wind chill) were -44 for a high in the northern plains states while in mid-January Alaska was a balmy 35. China reported the worst winter in hundreds of years, bringing in the military to clear snow that was more than 5 feet deep.

The cold weather forced us to retreat inside, not just physically but also to go within; to hunker down and to spend time on introspection. I don't know about you, but it sure felt sweet to be inside the reflective cocoon of quiet and inner space for several weeks. Even the native plants pulled back their energy as they were shielded in protective covers or foam barriers. In the reflection time, everything felt unsettled as though things were falling apart. There was increased sensitivity, both physically and psychically. Many reported crying for no reason, feeling fearful, reclusive, and wanting to be alone away from crowds. There was a strong feeling of being untethered to anything tangible.

Many shared with me that they felt more in tune with spirit since the turn of the year. Their dreams were more vivid or filled with guidance. In several cases it was as though inner guidance was more present than its ever been before. One person reported that she was about to drive through an intersection as she had the green light. She felt a powerful urge to stop the car. Without hesitation she slammed on the brakes as a speeding car ran the red light right, passing just a few feet in front of her car. She said at that speed and the proximity of the cars, airbags would not have deployed.

I had a powerful protective experience as well. I was on my way to CVS, gathering my jacket, wallet and cell phone. I had a powerful urge come over me that said, "Don't go now!" I tried to shake it off but the feeling was even more demanding so I went back to my regular work.

Ten minutes later I called CVS to find out if the product I'd ordered for Peru had come in. The phone rang and rang and rang. There were 30 rings or more before someone answered the phone. As I was about to hang up, a breathless voice answered by apologizing for the delay in taking the call. She told me the store had "been robbed by a gunman ten minutes ago" and they were all quite shaken. Had I left earlier I'd have been there during the robbery.

In the energy connection of quantum physics I wondered if my presence during the robbery might have caused a different outcome. We'll never know. But I do know the urgency and 'sound' of the message "Don't go now!" was clear and that I listened to it.

Since the Winter Solstice the light has shifted noticeably. The messenger and the messages of spirit are speaking to us clearly and many are "getting it." A few years ago we might have felt a ping of inspiration or knowing in answer to a question or a situation that we were facing. The answer would usually materialize in physical form after a few months. Now it's an instantaneous happening!

We have entered the borders of the new world where the light of the New Sun is illuminating our energy fields. That light brings instant opportunities to fulfill desires, to heal, and to serve the global family. As you read these words, we are preparing to meet with like minded souls in Peru who have heard the call of the New Sun. The Numerology of 2010

As we head into the start of 2010 let's look at the numerology of the year. 2010 is a 3 year. It's a powerful number of self-expression. The Chinese master teachers saw 3 as a perfect number, while the Egyptians called it the number of the cosmos. It's similarity to the universal OM symbol is unmistakable.

Many of life's events and passages are referenced in threes. For example: Third time is a charm; Things always happen in threes; Time is viewed as past, present and future; Stories are written with a beginning, a middle and an end. Esoterically, human existence happens in threes - birth, death, rebirth. In the physical dimension, all colors in the visible spectrum come from three primary colors.

Wisdom teachers tell us that 3 is the number of the trinity. It refers to the three aspects of the human - body, mind and spirit, or the physical, mental and spiritual parts of our being. Three also represents the number of the family unit - mother, father and child.

In numerology, it is the number representing any form of self-expression or communication whether in spoken or written words. In its harmonious expression it can be a rewarding and exiting year. But without proper balance, self-expression and communication can turn negative, giving way to gossip or superficiality. Without understanding and focus it can create withdrawal and a retreat from society, causing us to become a hermit or a recluse.

The number 3 represents the child in each of us summoning the courage to stand up and do what it is destined to in a balanced way. In 2010, we are summoned to become the new Divine Child, supported and guided by the Divine Mother and Divine Father. We are the Children of the Sun building the new Earth.

In 2010, we have the opportunity to grow towards our full potential. It is the year we finally take responsibility for our personal self-expression and for those things that we bring into creation. There's no one left to blame for we have become the keepers of the dawning new earth. In 2010 we accept sole accountability for ourselves, our actions and our creations. It will be 9 more years - in 2019 - before another opportunity like this occurs again.

Winter Solstice - The Light Within

The days grow shorter in the northern hemisphere as sunlight diminishes. The growing season is long over, the crops harvested, the fields tilled and supplies put up for the chilly months ahead. As the sun makes a low transit across the skies, its shadows lengthen, more darkness appears, and a primal part of us watches and wonders, "Will it ever come back?"

The watchfulness is even more pronounced in these difficult and challenging times. Fears, anxieties, angry exchanges, and dire pronouncements fill the electronic atmosphere and the agendas of many, causing us to look around expectantly for an uplifting beam of light on any front. We straddle two types of darkness - the disappearance of the sun's light and the sense of foreboding on the land. Yet, in the physical or spiritual darkness the wheel of life's cycle turns, presenting the essential truth of rebirth and renewal.

The light of hope, regardless of human contrivance, appears again on the horizon. It always does. Even in our modern lives, that primitive urge to summon the light is encoded in the deepest parts of ourselves. It is the fundamental essence of who we are - children of the light. So when that light is lessened in any way, melancholy sets in until the light is restored. We've devised rituals, ceremonies, stories and celebrations to insure the light returns especially around the Solstice when the sun appears to 'stand still' before making its trek back across the heavens.

In December in the northern hemisphere (June in the southern hemisphere,) we celebrate a shared human legacy of the sun's return in the company of tribes, cultures and religions all over the world. We join with the Dogon of Africa who celebrate the arrival of humanity from the sky God Amma; with the Japanese who celebrate the re-emergence of their sun goddess Amaterasu from her seclusion in the cave bringing sunshine back to the universe; with the Incas of Bolivia, Ecuador and Peru who celebrate Inti-Raymi by tying the sun to a hitching post to prevent its escape; with the Maori of New Zealand who honor the sun God's return with his winter bride the Star Sirius; and with the Druids who announce the feast of Alban Arthuan, a festival of peace celebrating the re-birth of the Sun Child.

The legends, myths and stories of the Sun Gods of Light have striking similarities. They were all born in the winter; of a virgin; performed great miracles; worked with the poor; lived for thirty years or so; when they died the sun darkened; and all of them were resurrected three days later in the springtime, otherwise known as the Vernal Equinox. They go by many names though the stories are similar. In Turkey the Sun God is Attis of Phrygia; in Greece it's Dionysius whose story mimics that of Horus and Osiris of Egypt. Egyptians celebrated for 12 days reflecting the 12 divisions in their sun calendar. In India, the sun God is Krishna and in Persia, Mithra who was protector of the light. Persians took their festival from the Babylonians, which marked the start of the solar year as a celebratory victory of light over darkness with the renewal of the Sun. In Iran, families kept bonfire vigils all night to help the sun battle the darkness. Coincidentally, a discovery in the ancient text of the Dead Sea Scrolls tells of a war between the sons (suns) of light against the suns of darkness. The Archangel Michael referred to in Talmudic tradition as "Who is like El" or the one who is like God is also called the Prince of Light or the Son of Light.

During the darkest days of the year, we all look for comfort in the re-emergence of the sun's light. It's a signal that no matter how difficult or dark our circumstances, no matter the mood of hostility or ugliness on the land, the sun returns to replenish the fields and our sense of aliveness. The visionaries who have always stood with a higher perspective, still do so today. They affirm and hold a global vision of a brighter tomorrow with an unwavering knowingness. They see and understand that it is by aligning consciousness with an image of what is desired that the holographic fabric of space and time will open to that reality. When the image is planted, then one by one it is embraced. Soon the collective mass consciousness agrees to see that vision, changing what we call reality.

On the solstice of December 21st each of us can affirm what we wish to envision in our lives or for the planet. Write three words or phrases describing your personal vision on a piece of paper. Enter into sacred space or ceremony, either alone or preferably with a group. Light a small fire or use candles to set your intentions. At the moment the sun stands still, hovering at its furthest point south, offer the visionary words written on the paper up to the solar fires. Using your breath and your imagination, send these sacred intentions from your heart into the atmosphere. See the visions enter the electro-magnetic fields of the earth, surrounding the planet with good intentions. As those in the southern hemisphere honor the longest day, and those in the northern hemisphere honor the shortest day, the sun's balanced blessings will return to all of us intensified and magnified.

Stay grounded and look straight ahead towards the horizon line. From that perspective, remain focused on the vision and know that the light will always be there. For even in the darkest hours of blackness, light and hope prevail.

A Mandala in Global Harmonic Resonance

Amid the seeming noise, activity, and chaos we experience daily in our world there's a gentle fluctuation that moves rhythmically and unseen. Most people have no awareness of it, yet it has great impact on our lives. Sometimes a coincidental event brings it to consciousness in a way that makes it vivid and brilliant. It's called Coherent Resonance.

Coherence means there's a logical interconnectedness and balance between two things. Resonance is the frequency at which an object naturally vibrates. In a coherent system, one object may set another in motion if it shares the same vibration or frequency. An example of this is if you strike a tuning fork the vibration cases a second tuning fork which has not been struck to vibrate at the same frequency as the first.

Coherent Resonance means that two or more things are vibrating and interconnected in a balanced, unified, and harmonious energy wave. We 'silently' communicate with one another through our electromagnetic and bio-electrical energy fields in a larger global energy field of consciousness. When we meet someone for the first time and have an instant connection with them we're experiencing a coherent resonance. If we hear about an event which causes a powerful reaction in us, we're experiencing coherent resonance.

Is coherent resonance possible across distance and time? In the unified energy soup we live in, it would appear to be so. Ten months ago a mandala emerged from cosmic mind while in meditation. It coalesced into a vision that said bring the community together in an event focused on prayers, intentions, and blessings for planetary peace. The drawing of the mandala and the vision it represented was presented to the community. Like a tuning fork being struck, it resonated harmoniously with everyone who heard about it and wanted to be a part of it.

The mandala came to be known as the Crystal of Peace Mandala. It was blessed by Tibetan Lamas and the leaders of Spiritual Centers. It was toned by Hindustani classical musicians. It was anointed in sacred ceremony in gatherings. Then the canvas drawing, with more than 200 facets in its design, was colored by hundreds of men, women and children in the community, each one imbuing it with their wishes and prayers for mother earth and all humanity. The Mandala was dedicated in a large ceremony on the Summer Solstice 2009.

The story of this unique Florida spiritual community, the Prism of Light, (which was the first iteration of the vision,) and the resulting Crystal of Peace Mandala was shared casually in conversation with the editor of Spirit of Maat based in Sedona, AZ. Another coherent resonance was toned when the editor, hearing the 'frequency of the story' asked to publish it in the May Issue of the magazine. The coherent resonance sounded loudly after publication like many tuning forks being struck in symphonic harmony.

Upon reading the story, many wrote from all over the world asking for more information about the mandala and to learn more about the spiritual community in Sarasota, FL. One said, "Reading your words I could sense the prism's harmonic in my cells, beginning to feel the sound of its shape." A few were even drawn to visit this area after reading about the Prism and the Mandala. But one contact sounded a harmonic resonance greater than all the rest.

The leader of a group in northwestern Spain wrote to say they had a spiritual center called Dragonfly that was a very special place offering different activities and workshops. But their most powerful work was a monthly gathering focused on Mandalas. She described the "amazing energy" of their center and noted that many synchronous events were happening. One of them was "accidentally finding the Crystal of Peace Mandala" through the Spirit of Maat Magazine. The resonance of the mandala crossed time zones and continents, speaking to the group with great clarity. She said, "When I read about all the work you are doing there I felt completely connected to all of you and your work, as we are working the same line here." She said it was "about the Nagual." For those not familiar with the term, it was used in the work of Carlos Castaneda. Nagual means the greater alternate dimension of reality of which most humans are unaware. A magician or sorcerer is one who has harnessed and commands the sacred knowledge.

She wrote asking for a copy of the Crystal of Peace Mandala so that their "Intensivos de Mandalas" group could join in and create in Spain what had been done in Florida. She continued, "I want to honor this mandala so people can paint it in our next workshop." Each person in the Dragonfly Mandala Intensive was guided to color their own version of the Crystal of Peace Mandala. Each one held a vision and toned their own notes and colors in response to what had been created as a community in Florida.

These images represent a selection from the twenty mandalas Dragonfly created. There's an implicit harmony and resonance with the original mandala because the template was used. But these colors are electric, fluid and dynamic. Though each one is unique in color there's synergy in the overall pattern of the original which carries the imprint of Peace across the continents. One of the Spanish mandalas caught my attention as it was so similar in colors and feeling to one I painted called the New Earth Template of Peace which was exhibited at Sarasota's Expressive Arts Gallery Mandala show this year.

And so it was that a seemingly "coincidental event" called The Crystal of Peace Mandala entered the stream of universal consciousness. It grew into an interconnected harmonic when thousands around the world heard of it. It became an organic entity when it was anchored in Spain, birthing more like unto itself. It lives now in the global energy field of consciousness silently waiting for the next note to be toned.

A Divine Message on a Panel Truck

"The 'so-and-so group' is going to Peru."

"What do you think? Should we go?"

"I'm not sure if it feels right."

"Then let's wait until it does."

For over two years, the conversations unfolded like that without any commitment made to any of the trips. That is until Jorge Luis Delgado sent an email in May announcing a gathering of spiritual groups, tribal leaders, religious leaders, teachers and lightworkers at Lake Titicaca for a sacred ceremony called Reactivating the Solar Disk. The email went on to say he would explain the trip in more detail when he arrived in Sarasota at the end of June. And so the conversations began again. "Jorge wants us to go to Peru. What do you think? Should we go? Etc, etc."

It's clear that no one needs to physically go anywhere to do this spiritual work. Every one of us can be just as energetically effective at a distance or while present at the event. Yet, there was something about this trip that felt like it was 'a calling.' It felt different on many levels. So, we asked for guidance from the world of spirit to come in either dreams or meditations. Little did we know that in less than 72 hours it would come in such a profound and meaningful way.

While preparing for meditation one morning a feeling swept the room with a clear message. "Go to the Shrine of St Michael's in Tarpon Springs!" Without knowing if there was even a Shrine to St Michael's in Tarpon Springs we decided to go to Tarpon Springs that morning and find out. But during the meditation we got parts of a well-known symbol that was important to both of us. The symbol, called The Sacred Dalet, is a blessed seal placed on the back of all the Mandalas. In Patricia's meditation she saw the Mandala Dalet Symbol which looks like the number 7 with two half moons and two squiggly equal signs. (Photo right.) I saw the number 5 with a curl coming out of the top of it. Both of these symbols would become meaningful on the drive to Tarpon Springs.

We both had no idea why we were going to Tarpon Springs on such sudden notice but knew there had to be a reason. As we drove onto the I-75 Interstate we opened a channel to spirit asking to be shown the reason for this trek and also for guidance on going with Jorge to Peru. As we drove we began to notice billboards and car license plates with messages that appeared to be signs directly related to what we'd asked. There were so many that Patricia said "We can't put meaning into every billboard we pass." And yet, each one had a clear message.

Before long an old navy blue car passed us then pulled into the lane in front of us. In the back window of the car, written in large hand-written white block letters, was the number 5 with the curled top. It was the same design I'd seen in meditation that morning. But even more surprising, the curly topped 5 was followed by the watery squiggly equal sign with two half moons. It looked like this: 5 = )). We were awed by that handwritten symbol in the back window which combined both of the symbols we'd received in meditation. After that, the messages became more frequent. We had a sense that our question, "Should we go to Peru with Jorge?" was going to be answered.

As we continued north on the Interstate a white panel truck came up alongside. The logo on the side of the truck said Longboat Construction. This is when the answer from Spirit became unmistakable. Over the Longboat Construction name was a large Incan mask with the sun emerging behind the face in bold colors like the Peruvian Incan sun masks. We were stunned by the message. Even now, writing this account, it sounds farfetched. How did a white construction panel truck, that just happened to have a Peruvian Incan mask as part of its logo, appear next to our car, on I-75, during an unplanned day trip, at a moment in time and space, in answer to a question we'd both released to spirit less than an hour earlier?

There were many more messages enroute to the Shrine of St. Michael's that day. We passed a huge billboard with this message: 888-Admit it! On August 8, 2008 twenty-two women held a pipe ceremony to honor the portal date 8.8.8. During the meditation that evening Rev. Sharon Elizabeth received a vision to activate a crystal template of light on 9.9.9 at Lake Titicaca in Peru. Another billboard said: "You Can Certainly Choose." A third sign said "Be Gold" which we felt was a reference to the Reactivation of the Golden Sun Disk of Aramu Muru.

The billboard messages were clear but the reason for visiting the Shrine was still unclear. We finally arrived at St. Michael's, spending hours that felt like minutes. The tiny white church in an old neighborhood of small homes, was filled with silver and gold icons to St Michael and the Madonna. It was built by Maria Tsalickis, the wife of a Greek sponge diver, as a promise made in 1939 to St. Michael for saving her dying 11-year old son. In the time there we learned about Maria, her son Steve, and the many healings from cancer, blindness, and terminal illnesses that visitors had received while petitioning St. Michael in the chapel. While this was certainly uplifting, it didn't answer the underlying question of why were we told to go to St. Michael's.

Not until we returned home and began to spend weeks researching Michael did we learn of his relationship to the Sun, to Peru and to the Re-Activation of the Solar Disk. St. Michael is actually the Archangel Michael known as "the highest of the seven mountains of creation" and who is called the "Sun Spirit" according to the Book of Enoch - a book left out of the Bible by canonical decree. His name is actually Me-Ka-El which means the Spirit of Light. All of the Archangel names end in 'El', the name of the 'elder' race of 'light' immortals that colonized the ancient earth.

Pre-Egyptian Chaldaean Magi told of a Sun-God that gave life to and protected the inhabitants of the earth. To the Egyptians, Ra was known as the Sun-God, the solar deity responsible for life on earth. In the Talmudic tradition the name Michael originated in Babylon and meant "who is like God." In Greek Mythology Apollo is the God of Illumination or Light and is often depicted as the Sun moving across the heavens. Eventually, the "Sun-God" attributes of a solar deity were carried into Christianity from ancient cultures and assigned to the Archangel Michael.

The relationship between Peru and the Sun God is older than our recorded history. In the book Secret of the Andes, it is revealed that the Pre-Incas came to Peru from the "last remnant of a large ancient island in the Pacific 30,000 years ago." The High Priests who arrived built a Temple of the Sun which eventually housed an artifact known as the Golden Sun Disk. Later, Chancas, Quero and Incas honored the Sun as the giver of life and the ancestor of the people, building temples to the Sun along the Great Diagonal Ley Line stretching from Lake Titicaca to Cuzco.

George Hunt Williamson relates a channeled message from Archangel Michael in January 1956 which said: "Many temples have been raised into the etheric realms. Some day they will be lowered again when man is spiritually ready to receive them. Stones used in the construction of the Temples have been put in the hands of the High Priest where they form a connection with the Celestial Hierarchy. There are several dozens of the stones from My Own Temple (Sun Temple) in the possession of individuals at various points on the Earth's surface." One of the 'stones' referred to by Archangel Michael is the Golden Sun Disk which was put into the hands of the High Priest Aramu Muru before the sinking of Mu.

Jorge Luis Delgado is known as the "re-discoverer of the Aramu Muru portal" through which the Priest Aramu Muru disappeared with the Golden Sun Disk. Jorge said the reactivation of the Sun Disk signals the return of the Children of the Sun who will usher in a new dawn of humans who recognize and honor their spiritual heritage. This echoes Archangel Michael's words that the temples will be lowered when 'man' is spiritually ready to receive them.

The ongoing connection between the ancient Sun God and its current representation in Archangel Michael is there for those who read between the lines or research it. According to Rudolph Steiner different ages of the planet are governed by different Archangels. Steiner said "Michael's Rulership of spiritual life began in the 1870's (which was the birth of the New Thought movement.) Whenever Michael sends his impulses into human earthly evolution, he brings the Sun-Forces or the spiritual essence of the Sun. The present Michael Rulership will last three to four centuries. In this time the Cosmic forces of the Sun will penetrate into the human physical and etheric bodies. In the future, the strength of human deeds will come from solar spiritual influences working through humans."

Michael the Archangel, the Incan Sun God on the panel truck, the Shrine in Tarpon Springs, the Solar Disk, and the Peru trip may all seem like disconnected events. However, the synchronicity and resonance of all the messages that came that day was clear. After that trip to Tarpon Springs it was clear that with so many confirming messages it was a calling of a sacred journey to Peru. Its significance and importance continues to be amplified since the messages in June and the subsequent research over the last few months. Many people will hear about this trip and question if they should go or not. Some will know from a place deep inside that they were present when Aramu Muru hid the Sun Disk 500 years ago. Those will hear 'the call' to be present when it is re-awakened, and with its awakening re-activate the Sun's spiritual essence in all of us.

POST-SCRIPT COINCIDENCE

This article was prepared almost three weeks ago. Reading it again before publishing, the coincidences sounded so far-fetched I questioned how it would be received. Then a strong feeling swept over me to "send the article to Jean." Not questioning it, I sent the article to Jean. This was her reply an hour later.

"Add this to your "coincidences". An hour ago, I was in the kitchen making salad and asking if indeed, today is the day to drive up to the shrine of St. Michael in Tarpon Springs which I had gotten a message to do last week. It's getting to be late morning, so I said if I am to go, give me an unmistakable sign and I'll go. I went in to check email and not only was Archangel Michael's name in one of the other emails, which I would have taken as a pretty good hint, but when I opened your email - well, you can imagine! Add to that - part of the reason I want to go is to make a final decision on going to Peru or not. WHEW! Timing is everything. THANK YOU!" Jean H.
